Two people were injured in a car crash at the intersection of Plank and Harding in Baton Rouge on Monday morning.

The three-vehicle crash involved a motorcycle, a car and a truck.

The accident occurred when the vehicle exited off Plank Road and was heading east on Hooper and struck the rear of a pickup truck, a police officer at the scene said.

According to witnesses, the car went airborne and the truck was completely spun around

A group of motorcyclists came up on the scene, and one ride struck a sign post while attempting to avoid the accident.

Two of the riders were injured, but neither appeared to be of a serious nature.
